We’ve had some great burgers in our time and the “Hangover Burger” at the Two Bit Saloon in Gardiner, Montana is one of the best we’ve ever had the pleasure to chow down.  The “Hangover Burger,”which is featured on their breakfast menu, comes with one egg, cooked any way you like it, right on top of the beef patty (or you can order a buffalo burger).  And since we’re gluten-free, we asked if they happened to have gluten-free buns…. and they said “YES!”  Wow, were we impressed.  The chef, Jen, grilled the bun and made the whole dish to perfection.

We’ll let you in on a little secret…  you don’t have to have a hangover to order this thing (we surely didn’t, unless you count the “bliss hangover” we had from seeing a combined total of 21 grizzly bears that morning and the night before north of Gardiner).  We enjoyed our lunch on the outdoor patio while we fondly recalled all the wildlife we had seen by that point in our trip.  Oh, the memories.  We enjoyed the Two Bit Saloon so much that we’re counting the days until we can go back.
